Hillary Ho
Medical Radiation, Year 3
My name is Hillary, and I’m a third year student in the Medical Radiation Sciences program specializing in Radiation Therapy. Through my clinical rotations, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of what we learn in interprofessional education (team-minded communication across disciplines & listening carefully to patients’ health and personal stories) to ensure delivery of cohesive and compassionate patient-centred care. I have the privilege to lead IPHSA with my creative and optimistic co-chair, Lydia. We look forward to working with the executive and general council to bring exciting IPE learning opportunities to the health and social care student body. I look forward to continue learning how to work collaboratively as an interprofessional team and facilitating workshops, activities, socials, and other projects to promote a system change towards person-centred care.
